General position objectives
The Business Development Analyst provides support for all business development activities including the organization and maintenance of all transaction records including due diligence materials and documentation checklists. Develop checklists and analyses to monitor pre-close and transitional activities for acquisition targets.

Work environment and conditions
Work is performed in an office environment. Involves frequent telephone contact with clients. Interaction with others is constant with frequent interruptions. Work may be demanding at times.

Specific duties and responsibilities

• Maintain records for transactions, including all transaction documentation requests, initial data requests and due diligence checklists.
• Coordination and dissemination of data requests to both finance and field operations
• Prepare initial compilations of financial information received from target businesses
• Analyze post-transaction visit performance in Excel
• Assist operations and business development teams with pre-close transaction and transitional support.
• Work with Information Technology (IT) to facilitate the enhancement of the Business Development content and access on the corporate intranet site.
• Maintain and further refine target acquisition pipeline report for VP of Business Development.
• Assist in preparation of materials for management and Board presentations.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business with coursework in finance or management preferred
• Certificate/License:None
• Experience:At least 2 years of proven experience in a corporate environment with experience assisting on task oriented projects. Experience with the management and basic analysis of data and documentation is strongly preferred.
