| VALENCIA, CALIF – U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group, a leading operator of occupational health care centers in the nation, today announced the acquisition of Memorial Maritime Clinic, 150 South Pico Avenue, Long Beach, California. The acquisition of this center expands the number of U.S. HealthWorks medical centers to 118 nationwide.
The Long Beach center provides occupational medicine, including injury and illness diagnosis and treatment, preventive services, pre-placement and post-offer exams and testing, physical therapy, return-to-work programs and orthopedic services. The center also offers Urgent Care services and is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Terms of the transaction, completed April 21, were not disclosed.
