Doctors should be good to their patients even when they're not there.
"Emergency care in the United States only deserves a C-", according to a report published by the American College of Emergency Physicians. When your injury or illness is not life threatening, sending patients to an ER for urgent care is not a good solution. Instead, U.S. HealthWorks can provide the urgent care services and then refer them back to their primary care physician for any necessary follow up care.
Urgent care center or the ER, it's important to know the difference.
Benefits to patients and their doctors:
U.S. HealthWorks doctors are not primary care physicians so patients are referred back to their doctors after the Urgent Care treatment.
U.S. HealthWorks is a less costly and more convenient alternative to an emergency room visit for patients.
U.S. HealthWorks partners with the physician's IPA to provide better services for their patients.
