|COLUMBUS, Ga. – U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group, a leading operator of occupational healthcare and urgent care centers nationwide, announced today it has acquired Acute Care Express medical clinic in Columbus.
The acquisition will be the sixth center acquired this year in Georgia, now making a total of seven U.S. HealthWorks centers in the state. Acute Care Express, located at 7901 Veterans Parkway, was previously owned and operated by Inphynet Contracting Services Inc., a health care management organization based in south Florida.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Acute Care Express has a great reputation in Columbus for providing high-quality patient care, and we look forward to welcoming the team into our organization,” said Daniel D. Crowley, Chief Executive Officer of U.S. HealthWorks. “Expanding our presence beyond the Atlanta region will allow us to offer exceptional care to a new community of patients in the state of Georgia.”
