U.S. HealthWorks Introduces New Mobile App for Care On-the-Go
Apr 14, 2015

VALENCIA, CALIF. – U.S. HealthWorks today unveiled a new app for mobile devices, an easy-to-use tool that will help patients locate its nearest occupational health and urgent care facilities, and allow them to pre-register ahead of their arrival.

The app can be downloaded from your mobile device at the Apple/iTunes, Google Play and Windows app store. U.S. HealthWorks is continuing to develop new features and additional functionality that will be available in later versions of the app.

“People are very busy these days, and our new app makes it easy for our patients to quickly locate our nearest clinic, and more importantly, to register ahead of time so the center you’ve chosen knows you’re on the way,” said Steve Essayan, U.S. HealthWorks Vice President of Information Technology. “Plus, our users can expect more enhancements in the near future to improve the patient experience at our centers. We want their visit to be as efficient as possible,” he added.

The app will assist individuals who like to maintain their health on-the-go or injured workers on the job who need to quickly identify the nearest occupational health center.

Features of the app include:

  • GPS, which locates the user and maps out the nearest U.S. HealthWorks centers.
  • A search function that allows users to find center locations by state or address.
  • Detailed information about each clinic, including hours, services, location, and contact information.
  • A “Visit Now” button, which allows patients to tell a center they are on their way ahead of their arrival.
  • A direct link to the U.S. HealthWorks website.

“This app is just one more example of how U.S. HealthWorks is working to improve the access and quality of its patient care, whether it’s occupational health or urgent care,” said Joe Mallas, U.S. HealthWorks President and COO.
