VALENCIA, CALIFORNIA – Patricia Burgess has accepted the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of U.S. HealthWorks, effective June 8, 2009. Ms. Burgess will report to Chief Executive Officer Daniel D. Crowley.
“Patricia has more than 30 years of corporate law experience in both New York and California,” said Mr. Crowley. “She worked in such firms as Foundation Health Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, FPA Medical Management (a physician practice management company), CalPERS and a highly successful international investment firm. She is steeped in health care, finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Patricia has worked with publicly and privately held companies large and small, and she will bring extensive knowledge and experience to U.S. HealthWorks as we move forward with our strategies for growth.”
Ms. Burgess will oversee the Legal Department, Quality Assurance and Risk Management and Corporate Compliance.
